Nurragingy Reserve

One lovely and sunny Saturday afternoon, I decided to take my girl Allie to a local reserve. It includes a function centre and a wedding garden, which is beautifully kept, as well as more 'bushy' areas and other open spaces for picnickers and the like.

I liked the different colours here...

My Melbourne Visit - Part 2, The gardens of Melbourne and St Kilda

Here, we walked through some beautiful gardens, the King's Domain and the Botanical Gardens and ended up at the lovely St Kilda, thus bringing to an end a wonderful time in the lovely city of Melbourne.

My Melbourne Visit - Part 1, The city of Melbourne and Port Melbourne

The photos I am sharing in this 2 part instalment are from two of the best days in my entire life! After meeting my partner a month and a half earlier, for the first time, I took a very short break from work and visited him in Melbourne, where he lived. I was not a big fan of flying then, something I have now overcome, in a big way... I hope you enjoy my 2 day Melbourne photos, such a lovely city and I'm itching to get back there real soon!

Gerringong and en route to...

Another trip to my folks' new abode and another glorious day for a few photos on the way, as well as Gerringong itself. Some pretty flowers from their garden just had to be snapped also!

I had to stop on the way and snap these pretty florals...

A look-out just past Kiama, presented me with this stunning view

A coral tree

The same tree, taken differently

The view through a barbed-wire fence

Pretty red ranunculus growing in Mum and Dad's front garden

Both Aussies now, but the 'Dutchness' is still there...

A lovely view from the main street

A blind facade I found fascinating, see the reflection?

These three houses, all in their own colour, caught my eye
