Lane Cove National Park was this week's destination. A beautiful place to get lost in, so peaceful. There are many picnic spots along the 5 km odd road and some have access to the river. A lovely afternoon was had here!

This fella was eyeing a big fish!

A lapwing in the water.

Beautiful clouds.

A close up of a sweet little flower.

This was on top of a very strange looking plant,

Abbotsford - along Hen and Chicken Bay

After some 'business' in the Strathfield area, we went in search for some 'pleasure' and came upon Battersea Park and Quarantine Reserve along Hen and Chicken Bay. No real theme here, just a bit of this and a bit of that from the area.

A few 'tinnies'.

An afternoon snack.

Life on the river...nice!

Jellyfish!

A lovely, deserted and peaceful place it was.

New growth...

Where's Wally?

Can or can not eat?

A sign of an old boat on the sand.

Part of the bow and the forefoot of the boat.

A lovely old boat that caught our attention...
