Wisemans Ferry

In sympathy to Ray, I didn't put up a blog last week...therefore our Wisemans Ferry outing is here today! We were lucky to have gorgeous weather and as usual, being alongside a river, a wonderful day was had. I hope you enjoy these photos!

The view of the Hawkesbury River from Hawkins lookout.

The river through the reed.

A lovely spot for a picnic.

Our girl Allie enjoyed a bit of a paddle.

A little detail...

Beautiful greens with an almost cloudless sky.

All in a row...

Skeleton trees.

The ferry, ready to drop off passengers.

We went home via Windsor (to grab a delicious ice cream),
passing a building with this eye-catching window.

A touch of the Highlands...

The following photos are a collection of some spots here and there within the Southern Highlands. They were taken at Berry, Mittagong and along the way to Kiama. Next week we're off to the water! But for now, enjoy these :-)

Daisies in Berry; our favourite place to be!

Rustic? Or just rusty ;-)

Took a fancy to the building,
but the door in particular.

Letterbox mania!

The lone tree...along Kangaloon Rd.

A stunning view as we headed to Saddleback lookout.

Crooked fence...

Just watching the world go by.

Gorgeous protea!

Stunning red of a coral tree at Kiama.

Chinoiserie - Part 2

Back again for a few more images of this lovely B&B at Mittagong. The garden was so beautiful that I took enough for another blog! I hope you enjoy them :-)
And remember, by clicking on the photo you can enlarge them for better viewing...

A red wattle bird gorging in the delights of a plum blossom.

Victorian gothic...

Arum lily, so beautiful...

Early morning dew drop...

A busy little bee :-)

Purple iris.

Plum blossom, such a lovely scent...

Some green sneaking on the boardwalk...

The view as we devoured our delicious breakfast!

New life beginning soon...
