Lithgow

Last week we find ourselves in Lithgow... We were on our way back from visiting a friend in Bathurst and took a slight detour. We drove up to Hassans Walls look out, where most of the following photos were taken.

Pretty purple

A red hot poker...

Love this little cottage, it is on the Great Western
Highway just before Lithgow.

As is this old railway carriage.

Together...

A view from the Hassans Walls look out

Have yet to work out what this is, getting
contradicting information... Anyone know?

One of many 'walls' at this look out.

Another stunning view from the top!

We called this 'the table'.

More magic views...

The road leading back to Lithgow.

This was taken from within a cave.

Green...

An old building facade on the main street of Lithgow.

This unusual welcome sign grabbed my
attention...

...and I thought this was a pretty little
shop-front for a laundromat.

Brooklyn

We enjoyed a terrific day out, driving about 1 hour north and ending up at a lovely little town called Brooklyn, on the Hawkesbury River. The sun was out and there there was a nice, coolish breeze. It was great to be by the water again! I hope you enjoy the following photos I took of this gorgeous area...

Life on the river, nice!

These gulls enjoy it too

Away from the crowd...

Some lovely yachts...

...and in the distance

Hello there...

This beautiful old yacht caught my eye

As did this image...

Some greenery within the rockery

A Rosenberg's heath monitor we came across
on our walk

Another bit of lovely rock formation

we headed up the hill, back home...

Berry

A quaint little country town down the south coast, a lovely place to stop and pop into the nice little shops or relax with a cuppa en route to where ever you are headed...

The view of Gerringong from a look out nearby

A flower I spotted whilst enjoying a latte at the
Berrylicious Cafe at Berry

Some more stunning red a little further along the
verandah of the cafe

Hmmm, now where do I want to go??

A lovely white flower in an alley...

The facade of an old church

Two lamp posts

The bandstand at a lovely little park

The bridge...

Yellow!

The Sydney CBD and surrounds, part 2

Continuing on from a few days ago, some more images from the city of Sydney...

I spotted this just inside a shop at the QVB

Another 'street' artist creating something magnificent

I was in awe of him...

Reflective sails

I just liked this...

Flowing water

The old Regent Hotel, now the Four Seasons.
Both my father and brother have worked
there as Chefs
