Nepean River

Last Sunday we took a drive to Mulgoa to view the Nepean River from Mt Riley's Mountain. The hike was 5.1 km and what we saw when we got there took our breath away! We also took a drive to Weir Reserve where we had a leisurely stroll along the beautiful river... I hope you enjoy these photos, it was a hard slog getting them to you!! ;-)

A beautiful banksia

White and black...

The path behind us

The magnificent view that awaited us!

The Nepean River in the distance.

Through the trees...

Under the bridge...

Brickwork

Castor oil plant seeds

The remains of an old tree along the riverside

The river ...

Flowing...

River 'tween the trees...

  1. OMG!! your picture of the water flowing is a cracking picture. Very hard to capture water flowing like that without it freezing the water into droplets. Really nice picture
